What a difference a donation can make! Recently we were able to provide furniture, sports equipment and enough books and writing materials to last most of the schools in the area for two years or more. Bosley, Betley, Audley (villages in Cheshire, England) and Waterdown (a town in Canada) chose to raise funds for us as their Millennium projects. Through their hard work and generosity we have built three new schools, renovated another and provided two buildings and milling machines. The schools were handed over to the Gambian Government in May 2002 and we will stay in constant contact with the teachers and monitor the progress of the villages.
