Maka Farafenni is a very poor village, the buildings are mainly straw huts with a few mud block buildings and no school. What education the children are receiving is carried out in the mosque and so numbers are very restricted. The nearest school is 4.5 Km. Away. As a result of the Pyrenees cycle ride we are in the process of buillding a new school here complete with kitchen and toilet block.
